Matt Phillips

As a little boy, I listened to an invitation to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior. That night, I knelt at the altar and asked Jesus into my heart. Though illness afflicted my mother and father, both remained faithful to the Lord and thereby strengthened my faith and love for Christ. The Lord lovingly sustained my family and placed a calling upon my life. In 1995, the Lord led me and my wife to Calvary Chapel Modesto. Leaving the contract furniture industry, I came on staff as an Assistant Pastor in 2007.
