The Gerrys serve at Calvary Chapel in Celje, Slovenia. The growing church in Celje is one of only a few Protestant Christian fellowships in the nation. Many young families comprise the church body, and the Slovene believers are maturing as servants and leaders to reach their own people with the gospel. New outreaches are springing up to impact other parts of the country.
Justin moved to Europe in 1998 and planted the church while attending Bible College in Austria, commuting over the border into Slovenia each weekend. Although both Americans, Erin and Justin met on the mission field, and Erin joined him in the ministry when they married in 2008.
In addition to teaching and equipping the saints in Slovenia, the Gerrys also teach English in their community.
