Our family has been living in Cambodia since 2003 and in Siem Reap province (northwestern Cambodia) since 2005. Our primary focus is in church work - building up the lay Christian leadership through mentoring as well as organizing village level development.

Currently, our ministry has three main focuses.

Medical - David works part-time at Angkor Hospital for Children, helping develop the senior doctors as better mentors and teachers to junior doctors who come to the hospital for their training.  Lara was involved with the community outreach division of Angkor Hospital for Children.  Since having Kai, she's been involved more with projects which she can do from home.

University Student Ministry - At the university student center, we hold English, computer, guitar and Bible classes while providing an environment for students to hang out.  The students also lead a discipleship Bible study group.  Our vision is to see a student-led movement teaching and encouraging each other, and reaching out to non-Christians.

Church Work - We are blessed in helping lead the Christian Fellowship of Siem Reap - an English-speaking church for both internationals and Cambodians.  David also continues to encourage and mentor several of the Cambodian church leaders.
